Job summary

Rosendin is hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Concord, CA. This entry-level role supports the Project Management team with administrative duties and construction project documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field and have at least 1 year in a construction role. Travel up to 25% is required, with opportunity to learn and grow within a leading electrical contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role.
• Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience that is equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Maintain change orders and document (drawing) control logs.
• Prepare logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
• Create and issue Subcontractors’ contracts.
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Ensure compliance with the project quality control plan.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for correct documentation and drawings.
• Keep the Warranty Log up to date.
• Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., to provide PM support.
• Assist field personnel and monitor other contractors’ progress.
• Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
• Prepare price change orders and project reports.
