Job summary

BBVA in New York hires a junior Analyst to join the Project Finance team, focusing on origination, structuring, and execution of deals in infrastructure and energy. You will prepare presentations, monitor pipelines, and support due diligence and financial modeling for awarded transactions.

You will collaborate with senior bankers and the Madrid team, participate in loan closings, and help with information memos and lender presentations.

Qualifications

Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.
1+ years of experience in corporate and/or investment banking related to Project Finance.
Fluent in English; Spanish fluency preferred.
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, financial modeling and DCF.

Responsibilities

Origination, structuring and execution of Project Finance deals in infrastructure and energy.
Prepare presentations and market materials for client pitches.
Monitor internal pipelines and assist with due diligence and documentation.
Run financial models for awarded transactions and support loan closings.
Maintain internal reports and coordinate with Madrid team.
Participate in diligence meetings and information memo / lender presentation preparation.
