Job summary

BBVA's New York-based Project Finance Debt Financial Advisory team seeks a Vice President to originate and execute debt advisory deals in offshore wind, renewables, and infrastructure. You will lead modelling, information materials, and client negotiations in a cross-functional, globally connected environment.

The role emphasizes client relationships, deal execution, and mentoring junior staff, with travel required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance; MBA desirable.
• 6–8 years of debt advisory experience (project finance / acquisition finance) or related M&A.
• Strong financial modelling across project finance, valuation, and capital stack.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Origination: assist in group strategy, target deals, and build client/lender relationships.
• Execution: lead end-to-end structuring, prepare information memoranda, and supervise modelling workstream.
• General: mentor junior team members, coordinate cross-functional teams, and travel as needed.
• Liaise with external advisors for due diligence and deal negotiations.
