Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Global Institutional Business NextGen Pool, focusing on Financial Sponsors and institutional client coverage across the US. You will assist Relationship Managers in marketing and delivering BBVA’s broad product suite, coordinating with product partners and risk teams to support cross-border transactions.

The role blends client coverage, financial analysis and deal execution, with opportunities to deepen expertise in Financial Sponsors

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, financial modeling and credit analysis skills.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish and other languages are a plus.
• Relevant exposure to Financial Sponsors is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in developing BBVA’s products for institutional clients.
• Coordinate with Product partners across the United States, Europe, Latin America and other geographies to support client coverage and transaction execution.
• Assist in proposal preparation, pitches and live transaction execution, including documentation coordination and risk review.
• Perform credit analysis and participate in internal approval processes with Risk and other stakeholders.
