Job summary

Raise is recruiting a Junior Project Controller to join a project controls team supporting large-scale capital projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Controllers to manage costs, forecast, and report on performance from initiation through closeout.

The role focuses on cost management, forecasting, and providing detailed cost reports, with a path to develop expertise in project controls methodologies under supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Engineering, or Project Management (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience with cost control concepts on capital projects.
• Proficiency with Excel and databases.
• Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Track and record project costs through work orders, purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices.
• Review project invoices and verify costs align with incurred costs and approved commitments.
• Maintain cost management systems with time-phased data and progress.
• Prepare cost reports, variance explanations, and forecasts.
• Support Project Managers with financial reporting and analysis.
