Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Controls Analyst for medium to large capital projects or programs, supporting project and program managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce financial, document, and scope control procedures to ensure consistent project execution.
• Compile and maintain project cost estimates, forecasts, and funding documentation (e.g., AFEs), ensuring alignment with the approved WBS.
• Perform cost control and transactional activities, including purchase requisition creation and maintenance.
• Development of pay applications; Monthly accruals, reclasses and journal entries.
• Develop and maintain project forecasts (CTD, ETC, EAC) and support annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis, identify risks and opportunities, evaluate financial impacts, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver project reports, dashboards, scorecards, and gate review materials for management review.
• Support project close-out activities, including financial reconciliation, documentation completion, and lessons learned.

The Project Controls Analyst provides hands-on project controls support with a primary focus on cost, financial, document, and scope controls, along with project metrics and reporting. The role ensures projects are planned, tracked, and reported in accordance with established project governance and stage-gate processes.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as the Project Controls Analyst for medium to large capital projects or programs, supporting project and program managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce financial, document, and scope control procedures to ensure consistent project execution.
• Compile and maintain project cost estimates, forecasts, and funding documentation (e.g., AFEs), ensuring alignment with the approved Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Perform cost control and transactional activities, including:
• Purchase requisition creation and maintenance
• Development of pay applications
