Job summary

SSOE Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support local clients and virtual project teams across locations. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment selection, and early-phase specifications, then support construction and commissioning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multi-discipline teams, adherence to GMP in food/beverage environments, and frequent field visits up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 4+ years of working experience required.
• Exposure to food, beverage GMP plants and related industrial settings strongly preferred.
• Experience with Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the chemical industry and with multi-discipline teams.
• Develop and complete engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs, equipment specifications, and procurement.
• Support development of engineering deliverables and bid packages.
• Perform field work (travel up to 30%) in operating facilities and during construction/start-up.
