Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support local clients and virtual project teams. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment selections, and provide ongoing support through construction and commissioning.

You will work on projects from inception through construction in the early phases and collaborate with teams across locations, with travel up to 30% for site work and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering; licensure eligibility in state of practice.
• 4+ years of working experience.
• GMP food/beverage plants experience preferred.
• Experience with building codes and sanitary design.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in chemical/food processing projects from inception through construction.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specs.
• Assist in field work and site surveys; travel up to 30%.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to deliver project tasks.
• Review vendor submittals and field installation for conformance.
