Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Process Engineer in Nashville to design and support projects from concept through construction, developing PFDs, P&ID's, process calculations, equipment selection and specifications for early project phases.

The role requires collaboration with clients and vendors, and may involve travel up to 30% for site verification, commissioning, and field support of food and beverage facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and licensure in state of practice.
• 4+ years of working experience required.
• Exposure to food, beverage GMP plants and related industrial settings preferred.
• Experience with Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering studies, write reports, and perform engineering calculations.
• Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specifications.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to complete project tasks.
• Travel up to 30% for site visits and commissioning support.
