Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to join the team who will support local clients and virtually assist project teams elsewhere. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications, and support projects from inception through commissioning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multi-discipline teams, adherence to food-grade design and GMP practices, and occasional travel to facilities for field verification and start-up support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience required.
• Experience with food/beverage GMP plants preferred.
• Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a client-facing role with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support local clients and virtually assist project teams in other locations.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications.
• Support projects from inception through construction and commissioning.
• Travel up to 30% for field work in operating facilities.
• Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and field installation work.
