Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team, supporting local clients and project teams virtually. You will contribute to early-phase design, developing PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specifications, then assist through construction and commissioning.

You should have a engineering degree and 4+ years of experience, with exposure to GMP food/beverage facilities. Travel up to 30% is required and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required; licensure eligibility in state of practice.
• 4+ years of working experience required.
• Exposure to food, beverage GMP plants and related industrial settings strongly preferred.
• Experience with building codes, GMP requirements, and sanitary design.
• Experience with utility system equipment and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in the chemical industry.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications.
• Assist in construction and commissioning support.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to complete project tasks.
• Travel up to 30% for field work and site verification.
