Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support clients locally and virtually across projects from inception through construction. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment selections, and specifications in early phases and provide ongoing support through commissioning.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4+ years of experience, and familiarity with GMP plants in food/beverage settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering; licensure eligibility in the state of practice.
• 4+ years of working experience required.
• Exposure to food, beverage GMP plants and related industrial settings preferred.
• Experience with pipe flow software (Pipe Flo) or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering studies, write reports, and perform calculations.
• Develop/assist in PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, and equipment specs.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to complete project tasks.
• Travel up to 30% for field verification, site surveys, and startup support.
