Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a Junior Process Engineer to join our team. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications in early project phases and continue through construction and commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 4+ years of experience, exposure to GMP facilities, and familiarity with Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom. Domestic travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of working experience in related field.
• Exposure to food, beverage GMP plants and related industrial settings preferred.
• Experience with Pipe Flo or AFT Fathom is a plus.
• Ability to work in a client-facing role with contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of building codes, GMP requirements and sanitary design.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering studies, write reports, and develop calculations.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs, process calculations, equipment specifications and procurement.
• Support development of engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to complete tasks.
• Assist in sanitary design and CIP/CtolOP concepts.
• Perform field work and site surveys up to 30% travel.
