Sompo Holdings, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Assistant Pricing Developer to migrate Excel pricing models to the HX Renew platform and to enhance pricing logic for commercial insurance.

The role collaborates with Pricing Actuaries, Underwriters, and other developers to deliver scalable pricing solutions. Responsibilities include UI component support in HX Renew, model maintenance, testing, and documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related internship/experience.
• Experience with Python or another programming language.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in actuarial pricing or analytical model development.
• SQL/database knowledge is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate Excel pricing models onto HX Renew and enhance HX Renew models.
• Develop and maintain user-facing components in HX Renew.
• Troubleshoot calculations by tracing inputs and outputs.
• Create test cases and document model changes before release.
• Collaborate with Pricing Developers, Actuaries, and Underwriters.
• Use Python and pandas to clean, transform, validate, and analyze data.
