Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Graduate focused on Plumbing/Fire Protection. Join a global engineering leader and participate in our Engineering Development Program (EDT) to build technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

You will support design teams on a variety of landmark projects, learning CAD/BIM drafting, coordination with trades, and system upgrades while benefiting from a flexible benefits package and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027 graduation date.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
• EIT or FE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under guidance of senior staff.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for various projects.
• Coordinate with other trades and internal/external teams.
• Support design and engineering efforts for new installations and upgrades.
• Take ownership of accuracy and timeliness of work.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and site visits.
• Participate in Engineering Development Program trainings.
