Syska Hennessy Group in New York, NY is offering an entry-level Mechanical Engineering Graduate position focused on Plumbing and Fire Protection. You will join a global firm known for MEP, information technology, architectural lighting, vertical transportation, and commissioning services.

As an entry-level engineer, you will learn from senior staff while supporting design teams, performing CAD/BIM drafting, and coordinating with other trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date Winter 2026, Spring or Summer of 2027.
• Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite

Responsabilités

• Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
• Learn drawing organization and company standards.
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
• Coordinate with the designs of other trades under guidance of more senior staff.
• Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
