Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineering Graduate focused on Plumbing and Fire Protection in the San Francisco area. You will support engineering teams, learn from senior staff, and contribute to innovative documentation and client solutions.

The EDT program and engineering development focus provide formal mentoring, training sessions, and opportunities to advance within a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Winter 2026, Spring or Summer 2027 graduation window.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM drafting and design workflows.
• E.I.T. or FE is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of a senior engineer or designer.
• Perform CAD/BIM-drafting for diverse projects and scales.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams under senior staff guidance.
• Support systems design for new installations, retrofits, upgrades.
• Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of tasks.
