Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience compiling and summarizing census and land use data.
• Ability to review and summarize research for staff.
• Contributes to reports and assists in material preparation for presentations with direction from more experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, analyzes and provides review for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits and reporting.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation planning projects.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation process.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
