Job summary

HNTB is seeking a planning team member to apply data-driven analysis for large infrastructure projects across the United States. You will gather, organize, and analyze data, create visuals, and support multi-disciplinary teams from concept through completion.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, or engineering and proficiency in GIS and MS Office. Collaboration with stakeholders and preparation of maps, reports, and exhibits are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field.
• Proficient with GIS software and MS Office Suite.
• Able to compile and summarize data (e.g., census/land use).
• Contribute to reports and assist in presentation material development.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects data; analyzes it for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Supports planning team with maps, exhibits, and reporting materials.
• Helps develop planning concepts for urban/transport projects.
• Prepares plans, studies, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
