Job summary

HNTB is seeking a planning analytics professional to collect and analyze data, develop visuals, and support planning studies for large infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams from concept to completion, leveraging GIS and MS Office to prepare exhibits and reports.

The role emphasizes research, data compilation, and presentation support, with opportunities to contribute to public participation processes and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with GIS and data analysis preferred.
• Ability to compile and summarize data.
• Assist in reports and presentations with direction from more experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, analyzes and reviews data for project use.
• Performs project analysis using guidance and software.
• Supports development of maps, exhibits, and reporting materials.
• Conducts research on planning issues and develops conceptual alternatives for urban/transportation projects.
• Prepares plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Participates in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains project records and files.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
