Job summary

HNTB is seeking a data-driven urban planning professional to support planning projects across a range of communities. You will gather and analyze data, develop maps and exhibits, and contribute to reporting and presentations.

The role involves coordinating with interdisciplinary teams from concept development through project completion and supporting stakeholder participation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team members with development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials and reporting.
• Contributes to reports and assists in material preparation for presentations with direction from more experienced staff.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation process.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field
