Job summary

HNTB in the United States seeks a planning professional to analyze data and support planning projects from concept through completion. You will gather and analyze data, generate useful visuals, and help prepare reports and environmental documents for transportation projects.

As part of a cross-disciplinary team, you will create maps and exhibits, coordinate with stakeholders, and assist in presenting findings. A relevant degree and GIS/MS Office skills are required or expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile, summarize and present data clearly.
• Experience supporting planning studies or reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, analyzes and reviews it for projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists with maps, exhibits, presentation materials and reporting.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation planning.
• Produces plans, studies, reports and environmental documents for projects.
