Job summary

HNTB is seeking a planning analytics professional to apply data-driven methods to support urban planning and transportation projects. You will gather, organize and analyze data, create maps and presentation materials, and assist with research and documentation from concept to completion.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in urban planning or related field, proficiency in GIS and Microsoft Office, and demonstrated ability to summarize complex data for project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience with GIS and data analysis preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and reviews data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists with development of maps, exhibits, presentations and reports.
• Researches issues and concepts related to planning and develops alternatives.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports and environmental documents.
• Supports stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains records and files for projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
