Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Urban Planning professional to apply planning strategies, gather and analyze data, and develop reporting visuals for transportation and infrastructure projects. You will support research, studies, and documentation from concept to completion, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include data collection, GIS mapping, preparing reports and exhibits, and participating in stakeholder processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or related field.
• Experience with GIS and data analysis.
• Ability to compile and summarize data.
• Experience preparing reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of urban planning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Research, collect and analyze data for projects.
• Perform project analyses using guidance and software.
• Support development of maps, exhibits, presentations and reports.
• Develop conceptual planning alternatives for urban/transportation projects.
• Prepare and produce plans, studies and environmental documents for projects.
• Assist in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintain project records and files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
