  • Maintain organized documents and records.
  • Attend meetings and prepare follow-ups.

Job Description Job Summary: Luxury property management company based in Manhattan is seeking a Junior Operations Manager to support the operations department across a portfolio of residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has 5 years’ experience supporting building maintenance and administration, with a focus on construction and mechanical knowledge.

Job Specific Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Previous residential construction experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully coordinate and navigate building construction, renovations and project coordination (routine repairs, maintenance work orders).
  • Track operations expenses and facilitate service payments.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and compliance.
  • Prior experience utilizing building management system, BuildingLink.
  • Attend meetings and prepare follow-up as needed.
  • Manage documents, files and electronic information in an organized, efficient and secure manner.
Basic Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls, e-mails and in-person requests.
  • Comply with company policies, practices and procedures.
  • Set goals, prioritize and execute duties of the position.
  • Interact with staff, contractors, vendors, stakeholders, etc. in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Represent company as a professional in appearance.
  • Communicate written and oral communication at the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Perform quality and quantity duties as knowledge expands in the position.
  • Complete company required training courses as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • 5 years’ property operations or facilities support experience.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of working within deadlines.
