You will document configurations, changes, and incidents for auditability, assist with incident response, backups, and security monitoring, and collaborate with network and security teams to restore services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 0–3 years in junior system administration or NOC roles.
• Foundational concepts in user/group management, permissions, and health checks.
• Experience with monitoring, ticketing, backup, and basic virtualization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• US citizenship with SECRET clearance (active within last 24 months).
• Security+ or DoD 8180 IAT‑II certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, OS, and core services using monitoring tools and tickets.
• Execute routine system administration tasks including patching and backups.
• Troubleshoot common issues, escalate when needed but follow runbooks.
• Document configurations, changes and incidents for audits.
• Support incident response, backup/recovery, and security monitoring.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to restore services.
• Ensure compliance with incident, change and configuration processes.
