Job summary

Cayuse is seeking a Junior Network Specialist to support LAN/MAN/WAN infrastructure. You will guide network operations, troubleshoot performance, and contribute to capacity planning in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years in network functions, CCENT/Security+ preferred, and a Top-Secret Clearance. Onsite work in Illinois with opportunities for cross-functional teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in related network functions.
• CCENT and/or Security+ certifications preferred.
• Top-Secret Security Clearance required.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and practices.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for the direction and monitoring of information systems operations, ensuring maximum network efficiency.
• Design, build, implement, and maintain LAN, MAN, and WAN infrastructures.
• Direct and oversee compilation of records and reports related to network operations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with vendor support to escalate outages or degraded performance.
• Manage procurement, testing, installation, and support of network hardware and software.
