Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Network Engineer to support critical national security networks. You will assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure LAN/WAN environments and work with senior engineers to ensure high availability and performance of classified networks.

Qualifications

• Education: BS Engineering or related field.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in network administration or engineering, preferably DoD/regulatory environment.
• Certifications: DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance with enterprise tools and provide Tier II/III troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols ensuring STIG compliance.
• Assist with COMSEC handling and secure communications equipment.
• Create/update network topology diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with systems admins to integrate Windows, Linux, and VMware vSphere environments.
