Job summary

Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Network Specialist - Journeyman to design, implement, and optimize large-scale network systems in a capability-driven environment. You will analyze traffic, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage lifecycle from procurement through support.

The role emphasizes system-level design, capacity planning, and vendor comparisons to ensure secure, scalable networks for mission-critical needs. A Top-Secret clearance is required and onsite work is expected in the main office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in network-related roles that include design, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Certified: CCNA, CCDA and Network+ or equivalent through recognized programs.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, wireless and architecture.
• Experience with capacity planning and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and monitoring of information systems operations to align with objectives.
• Design, build, integrate, and implement advanced network systems including LAN, MAN, WAN.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle for procurement, setup, testing, installation and support of networking systems.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues and perform root cause analysis with sustainable solutions.
• Plan large-scale projects with vendors, cost analyses, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with vendor support teams to resolve outages rapidly.
• Direct systems engineering tasks and coordinate personnel/resource across networks.
