Job summary

Qualifications

• DoW Secret clearance eligibility is required or obtainable.
• Bachelor’s degree in naval architecture or related engineering field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses and prepare naval architectural deliverables for ships, crafts, and floating structures.
• Support the design of ships, craft, and related structures.
• Develop hull form geometry, hydrostatics, and weight and stability analyses as needed.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to balance design features.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and project plans for reviews.
• Participate in design reviews and staff seminars as required.
