Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a junior software engineer to join the Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team in support of an AFRL mission at Eglin AFB in Florida. The candidate will work closely with customers and a team of engineers to develop AFSIM models, scenarios, and capabilities, providing onsite support as required.

The role emphasizes agile development practices, self-starting initiative, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop AFSIM models, scenarios and capabilities for AFRL customers.
• Provide onsite support at Eglin AFB as needed.
• Perform testing and verification using modern Agile software development practices.
• Collaborate with customers and a diverse team of software engineers and analysts.
