Job summary

Radiance Technologies, Inc. is seeking a junior software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team in support of an AFRL mission at Eglin AFB. You will closely work with customers and a diverse team to explore and develop solutions, developing AFSIM models, scenarios, and capabilities.

Onsite support will be required as needed. The role emphasizes modern Agile software development practices, collaboration, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Minimum of 1 year C++, C#, Python, or Java development experience.
• Minimum of 1 year software development experience or modeling, simulation and analysis.
• Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Develop AFSIM models, scenarios and capabilities for customers.
• Provide onsite support as needed.
• Collaborate with customers and a diverse team of software engineers and analysts.
• Follow modern Agile software development practices.
