Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a junior software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation team in support of AFRL missions at Eglin AFB, Florida. You will develop AFSIM models and scenarios while closely collaborating with customers and a diverse team of engineers and analysts.

You will apply modern Agile software development practices during testing and verification, with opportunities for onsite support and hands-on growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in a computer-related field.
• At least 1 year of software development experience in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with DoD DoD security practices is a plus.

We are searching for a talented software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team in support of an AFRL mission at Eglin AFB. We are looking for a junior engineer to closely work with customers and a diverse team of software engineers and analysts to explore and develop solutions in support of AFRL. The candidate will be expected to develop AFSIM models, scenarios and capabilities for our customers, and provide onsite support as needed. While performing testing and verification, modern Agile software development practices is expected to be used. We are focused on finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort. Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 1 year software development experience or modeling, simulation and analysis.
