Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Building Mechanical Engineer for our Philadelphia, PA office. You will contribute to the planning, design, development, and construction of mechanical building systems across various project types, under supervision.

You'll collect and analyze data, assist with HVAC/plumbing design, and develop mechanical calculations while ensuring safety and quality in line with building codes and WSP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0 to 1 year of post-education Building Engineer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data on mechanical building systems.
• Assist with design of HVAC, plumbing, and building systems in conformance with rules and permits.
• Perform routine engineering functions and provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements.
