Job summary

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Early Career Mechanical Engineer in our Hamilton, NJ office for Summer 2027. You will join the Property & Buildings Team, assisting in design, development, building, testing and inspection of mechanical systems on infrastructure, building, and construction projects.

Under supervision, you will collect site data, perform basic engineering tasks, assist with load calculations and operating strategies, and help generate clear documentation using Revit, AutoCAD and CAM.

Qualifications

• Solid foundational knowledge in mechanical systems design.
• Familiarity with design/build processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under supervision and in teams.
• Experience with technical writing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis from sites, surveys, and drawings.
• Support mechanical design, testing, and inspection activities.
• Perform entry-level engineering tasks and load calculations.
• Prepare concise documentation using electronic systems.
