Job summary

West Capital Lending in California is seeking a Customer Lending Representative (Junior Loan Officer) to begin a career path toward becoming a Loan Officer. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and real career development while learning every aspect of the mortgage business.

You’ll build relationships with clients, handle mortgage questions, and participate in coaching to enhance sales and lending knowledge. This entry-level role emphasizes growth from within the team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and desire to learn.
• Sales, customer service, banking, or mortgage experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable using a computer, phone, and CRM systems.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients with mortgage questions and guiding them through the beginning of the lending process.
• Reach out to prospective clients through calls, texts, and email campaigns.
• Build relationships with new and existing clients while providing an outstanding customer experience.
• Maintain accurate client records using our CRM and mortgage software.
• Work alongside experienced Loan Officers and Branch Managers while learning every aspect of the mortgage business.
• Continuously develop your sales, communication, and mortgage knowledge through ongoing coaching and training.
