Invited is seeking a Cook 1 in California to join our hospitality team. You will assist with setup, basic prep, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation while supporting Cook 2 and Cook 3 to ensure consistent food quality.

This entry-level position emphasizes learning, safety, and customer service as you handle standard menu items, assist with daily specials, and interact with members and guests. Weekend and holiday availability may be required, and you’ll gain access to our Total Rewards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsabilités

• Set-up, execute daily prep tasks, and organize your workstation efficiently.
• Prepare and store all food items required for your station, adhering to Invited’s standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent preparation and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, and other menu items as designated by Chef(s).
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Interact professionally with members and guests, accommodating changes and last-minute requests as needed.
• Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally notifying management of issues and practicing effective service recovery.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
