Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an IT Support / Junior Systems Administrator for a hybrid 6‑month contract engagement in Roanoke, TX. The role covers end‑user support, workplace tech administration, IAM, and day‑to‑day IT operations in a Windows‑centric environment.

The contractor will support on‑site and remote employees, manage Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and endpoint devices, and assist with onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting, asset management, and security hygiene initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional IT support or help desk experience.
• Experience supporting Windows laptops and desktops.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
• Knowledge of Slack and Notion administration fundamentals.
• Understanding IAM concepts including provisioning and MFA.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience documenting processes and technical documentation.
• Ability to support onboarding and offboarding activities.
