Job summary

The HT Group seeks an IT Support Engineer in a hybrid Austin-based role. You will deliver end-user support, manage Apple devices with Kandji/Jamf/Iru, and handle onboarding/offboarding with strong identity management via Okta and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in professional IT support or related field.
• Strong experience supporting Apple Macs in a business environment.
• Experience administering Okta or similar IAM platform.
• Experience administering Google Workspace in a professional setting.
• Familiar with Apple device management platforms such as Kandji, Jamf or similar.
• Knowledge of provisioning, SSO, MFA, and RBAC.
• Experience onboarding/offboarding employees.
• Hardware inventory, procurement, and asset lifecycle familiarity.
• Networking basics including Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive end-user support for onsite and remote employees.
• Troubleshoot macOS, hardware, software, access, connectivity and peripherals.
• Manage support requests from diagnosis to resolution and keep users informed.
• Document recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Coordinate hardware repairs, replacements and vendor support.
• Deliver IT onboarding and offboarding, provisioning accounts and equipment.
• Administer Apple devices and MDM platforms; manage enrollments and updates.
• Administer Okta accounts, groups, MFA, and access policies.
• Manage Google Workspace accounts, licenses, policies and security.
• Maintain IT documentation, assist security/compliance, and review access controls.
