Skild AI in San Mateo, CA seeks a Junior IT Support Engineer to manage day-to-day employee IT in a robotics and AI environment. You will support Mac, Linux, and Windows, handle onboarding and offboarding, and maintain run books to scale IT operations.

This hands-on role requires troubleshooting hardware and network issues, managing the IT ticket queue, and providing clear documentation for technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or desktop support experience.
• Strong macOS, Linux, and Windows troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with endpoint management tools (Iru/Kandji, Jamf).
• Familiarity with networking basics (DHCP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Ability to write clear run books and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, inventory, and retire devices.
• Build and image Linux laptops and desktops; support Windows.
• Troubleshoot hardware/OS issues and manage RMAs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity including VPN/Wi‑Fi.
• Support office network changes and device onboarding.
• Run new-hire setup end to end and offboarding.
• Handle SSO and MFA enrollment and basic access requests.
• Maintain conference rooms, A/V, printers, and onsite tech.
• Manage IT ticket queue and respond to targets.
• Write run books and build repeatable processes.
