Job summary

Skild AI Inc. is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to independently handle day-to-day employee IT in a highly technical robotics and AI environment in San Mateo, CA.

You will support Mac, Linux, and Windows machines, networking, identity and access, and office technology for teams that build and test robots daily. Reporting to the IT & Security Lead, you will own the IT ticket queue, run onboarding and offboarding end to end, and help scale IT with run books and repeatable processes as Skild

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of IT support, desktop support or IT operations.
• Strong macOS support skills; comfortable with Linux and Windows.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes and basic SSO/MFA administration.
• Ticket-queue discipline and clear written documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, inventory, and retire Macs via Iru/Kandji.
• Build and image Linux laptops/desktops; support Windows where needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware/OS issues and manage repairs, loaners, RMAs.
• Troubleshoot network issues: Wi‑Fi, VPN, connectivity for staff and labs.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding end to end, including device recovery and access removal.
• Maintain SSO/MFA enrollment and basic access requests; manage Google Workspace and Slack.
• Maintain conference rooms, A/V, printers, and onsite tech.
• Run IT ticket queue, meet response targets, keep tickets up to date.
• Write run books and build repeatable processes.
