Job summary

PayJoy, Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist to support and enhance our IT infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user experience.

This role blends hands-on helpdesk support, network administration, cloud technologies, and IT asset management to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient systems across the organization. You will handle Tier 1–2 support, manage access, assist with backups, and help maintain smooth operation across Windows, macOS, Linux, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of providing IT support across Linux, Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Video Conference Systems (Google Meet, Logitech Room).
• SaaS / Cloud experience (Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, SSO).
• Understanding of system and application integration; automation knowledge.
• Able to work off hours and travel to other offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software and SaaS apps.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support operating systems and productivity tools across platforms.
• Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Support and maintain cloud platforms and identity services (e.g. Google SSO).
• Assist with cloud backups, monitoring and security best practices.
• Support SaaS apps like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira.
• Monitor network performance and assist with access management and security controls.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, inventory, maintenance, decommissioning.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and coordinate device provisioning.
• Follow IT security policies and participate in audits and compliance.

Position Overview |

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to support and enhance our IT infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user experience. This role combines hands-on helpdesk support, network administration, cloud technologies, and IT asset management to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient systems across the organization.

Key responsibilities|

• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity tools
• Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
• Support and maintain cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Slack, etc….)
• Manage user access, permissions, and identity services (e.g., Google SSO, IAM)
• Assist with cloud-based backups, monitoring, and security best practices
• Support SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, etc.

Networking

• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
• Assist with network security controls and access management

IT Asset Management

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning)
• Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure compliance
• Coordinate device provisioning, replacements, and returns
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes

Security & Compliance

• Follow IT security policies and best practices
• Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., SentinelOne, Kandji/Iru MDM)
• Support audits and compliance requirements as needed

Qualifications |

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or
• 4+ years provided support in the form of Linux\\Windows\\Mac OS architecture
• Experience with supporting Video Conference Systems. (Google Meet / Logitech Room Systems)
• SaaS / Cloud experience (Google Workplace / Slack / 1Password / SSO)
• Understanding of system and application integration, as well automation engineering
• Able to work off hours for maintenance and projects
• Periodic travel to other offices to help support staff.
