Qualifications

• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, programs, and regulations impacting policyholders.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office, required.
• Excellent communication skills; customer service experience beneficial.
• Must have or be willing to obtain health and life insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Business-to-business cold calling meetings with potential clients and educate them on the benefits of supplemental insurance offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing their insurance needs building your book of business.
• Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
• Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's needs.
• Stay abreast of changes to rules or policies within the agency to amend insurance programs for clients.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while maintaining current client portfolios.
• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients to present best insurance policies for their needs.
