Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering required.
• FE exam eligibility by graduation.
• 0–2 years in instrumentation and controls engineering; internships welcome.
• Coursework in process measurement, control loop fundamentals, and PID control.
• Exposure to PLC/DCS/SCADA/HMI and industrial networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumentation and controls design and production of deliverables.
• Prepare instrument index, datasheets, loop diagrams, P&ID markups.
• Support sizing calculations for flow, valve, level, pressure, and temperature.
• Learn control system architecture and communication requirements.
• Draft control narratives, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform self-checks and support quality control reviews.
• Help resolve design issues and review vendor submittals.
• Support factory acceptance testing, loop checks, commissioning.
• Communicate with project teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Build knowledge through mentorship and training.
• Contribute to proposals and continuous improvement.
