Job summary

The Florida Department of Children and Families is seeking an OPS Human Services Program Consultant I to support eligibility case processing within the Office of Economic Self Sufficiency.

You will review cases, analyze discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements while coordinating with statewide staff to resolve complex eligibility issues and maintain timely benefit processing in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public assistance eligibility operations and programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience reviewing eligibility cases for accuracy and compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Ability to analyze case information and system data to determine appropriate next steps.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a high-volume work environment.
