Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a HUD Building Assessment Project Manager I to lead capital needs assessments and oversee building evaluations for commercial properties. You will perform site inspections, monitor construction, assist with energy and ADA audits, and deliver clear reports to clients while coordinating with senior staff across multiple projects.

Travel may be required based on project needs. The role demands attention to detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a construction-related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform Capital Needs Assessments of existing commercial properties.
• Monitor new construction or renovation projects.
• Assist with energy and ADA audits.
• Take site photos and conduct records research.
• Prepare clear condition and status reports using templates.
• Travel as needed to project sites.
