The Associated Press is seeking a proactive Junior HR Business Partner to support our HR Business Partner team and deliver a high-quality experience for employees and managers across AP. Reporting to the HR Director, News, this role provides HR support on talent, organizational, and workforce matters in a fast-paced global environment.

The successful candidate will have up to 3 years of HR experience, be highly organized, and comfortable partnering with managers and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced global environment.
• Experience supporting managers and employees on day-to-day HR processes and inquiries.
• Experience applying HR policies across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on HRBP support for routine activities and contribute to strategic HR initiatives.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, HR Operations and HR specialist teams to resolve employee and manager needs.
• Support employee and labor relations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
