Job summary

The Associated Press is seeking a proactive Junior HR Business Partner to support the HRBP team across AP, reporting to the HR Director, News. You will partner with HRBPs and business leaders to deliver a high-quality employee and manager experience.

You will handle routine HR processes, contribute to strategic initiatives, and help with talent, labor relations, mobility, and data integrity across U.S. and global locations.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced global environment.
• Experience supporting managers and employees with day-to-day HR processes.
• Experience applying HR policies across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience maintaining and analyzing employee data with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on HRBP support on routine activities and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Partner with HRBPs, HR Operations, and other teams to support managers and employees.
• Assist with employee and labor relations, including performance management and disciplinary processes.
• Facilitate employee transfers, mobility-related processes, immigration, and cross-functional HR activities.
• Collaborate with Talent and HRIS teams to ensure data is accurate and accessible.
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements.
