We have partnerships with more than 10,000 companies worldwide in the film industry.

And now the Freeway team is seeking our new Junior HR Generalist.

What your new job will look like?

The Junior HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the HR department across various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, performance appraisal process, and HR-related administrative tasks. Reporting to the HR Manager, this position assists with day-to-day HR operations while helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. Additionally, the Junior HR Generalist proactively identifies opportunities for improving HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting job vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, organizing and conducting interviews;
• Keep in contact with HR service providers;
• Assist in managing the entire candidate lifecycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding;
• Support onboarding and offboarding procedures under the guidance of the HR Manager;
• Handle HR administration tasks including managing employment contracts, contract modifications, termination documents, and maintaining employee records;
• Assist in coordinating payroll procedures, including data collection and submission to the payroll provider;
• Handle employee requests related to HR issues;
• Support the HR Manager in coordinating the annual performance appraisal process;
• Contribute to the preparation of HR-related procedures and policies to ensure legal compliance;
• Assist in managing HR-related agreements with vendors and executing related HR projects;
• Conduct research on various HR topics as needed;
• Support planning and organizing training sessions, workshops and development programs;
• Assist in organizing and supporting company events and team-building activities;
• Undertake other HR duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

•Degree in HR or any Bachelor's degree with a focus on HR;
•1-3 years of relevant experience in recruitment (experience in a recruitment agency or multinational environment is preferred);
•At least 1 year of experience in HR administration is an advantage;
•Strong communication skills in both English and Hungarian;
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems;
•High level of organization skills and attention to detail;
•Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion;
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
•Customer-focused mindset;
•High level of initiative and self-motivation, with proactive approach to problem-solving;
•Ability to cooperate effectively with colleagues at all levels while also being able to work independently;
•Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture;
•Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
