Job Description

Preferred Data Corporation is a leading provider of IT solutions. We are seeking a motivated Junior Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to ensuring seamless technology operations for our clients.

The Technician will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripheral equipment, working closely with senior technicians and providing technical support to end users.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, coordinating with senior technicians to resolve complex problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with inventory management of hardware components and spare parts.
• Provide basic technical support to end‑users, escalating issues as needed.
• Document all service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.

Requirements
